Beleaguering Notions

Out of the most prevalent discussions, one inevitable topic that is always subjected to have attention is ‘Generation Gap’. The uproar for the topic is so prominent that sometimes it goes beyond the concept of discussion and results into a brawl. It’s usually said and heard about the difference of opinions and thoughts among the generations but is never tried to understand the reasons behind the scenario. The blame game which is from both sides never gets resolved due to which a very thick line is drawn among people within families and societies.

The differences that are created due to avoidances create panic and distasteful environment which loses conduciveness for unanimous decisions that are always needed to lay a strong foundation for our better futures. Dreaming for the future would be wise only if we will understand the true value of imbibing and practising those activities which lead to sheer understanding among members.  The conflict arises when members of different generations do not allow them to see beyond their fury and fears.

One of the understood reasons which could have played role in against is the very notion which is involved right from the starting. Notions are the real cause of any involvement or happening. Relations are not as complicated as they are judged and presented. It’s the onus of both parties (Young and Elderly) to understand one thing that we can’t clap with a single hand. To bring ease to our audacity is never a matter to bow down because if we really want to create a room for better warmth in our relations then it is the very need of the hour.

One of the prior reasons between young and elder people is to have comparisons in terms of hardship, struggle, sacrifices and facilities. The seniors always complain about the laziness and hasty approach of young people. Also never miss mentioning that what young guns have done in their lives? At times this sheer complaining and cursing create a very distasteful and unpleasant environment which is never fruitful for anyone. One of the reasons behind this situation is that most of our childhood is being associated with an encouraging environment where we have felt protective every now and then because parents consider this as an opportunity to provide best possible facilitation for their offsprings.

The notion behind this facilitating environment is to protect their children from uncertainties and distasteful events of lives. Sometimes this sort of over protecting environment proves to be detrimental as children forget to realize that this support system is to develop themselves for upcoming life challenges and uncertainties. This misunderstanding costs children a lot because parents are not going to live forever.

On the other front parents should behave wisely with their kids as one day they have to face the real challenges of life. It will be prudent that parents let their kids come forward and take charge of their own responsibilities and play the role of mentors. Complaining and cursing will deteriorate the confidence of their kids and leave them in agony and one-day sheer retaliation will be faced in future. If said that kids have grown up then let them feel and practice those notions which will bring a great sense of maturity and understanding to them. At times kids could be ignorant but it’s not always the case because the young blood also carries a real sense of understanding regarding their responsibilities and have the urge to prove their wise feelings and emotions for their families.

In some cases, it is evident that kids take their parents for granted and consider that whatever parents have done it’s their responsibility. As a child, it should never be forgotten that if today he/she has been able to think and understand is just because their parents have shed their sweat and blood in providing them with the best of facilitation while upbringing their children. As a kid, it has to be retained wisely that ignorance does not provide solutions but draw a thick wall in our relationships where if relevant steps are not taken then it leads to unpleasant consequences. It's of no significance to stick with beleaguering notions which are always in against the spirit of togetherness, love, affection, respect and above all sanctity in our relations.

Life is not about ignoring or belittling rather it is meant to learn about sacred notions and embracing others where there is always sheer importance and respect for those people without whom our lives would not exist. Life is meant to take all to the destinations because reaching out single could bring a smile on our faces but later it will also be painful to find ourselves at the pinnacle of our life achievement. Also, there is a lot of attention on achieving those set of traits which resembles a leadership personality but we forget that leaders are the people of clear intention to take every single member to the destination no matter what it takes to get there. The satisfaction which we get in reaching out with others make us feel so accomplished and proud that fills us with joy and happiness that we become nostalgic for the rest of our lives.

So there is no harm to be slow because of motivating others in reaching out the destination rather than fast to reach all alone.

  3. Sir a blog which everyone will connect themselves with.Attitude and arrogance is the difference here.Parents know many things as they have seen and lived a long than their children but only they know everything I think it's not justified.Parents are correct but not always, they should guide but giving orders always is not justified again. No hard feelings for anyone but some change is needed on both ends.In short I would like to conclude with a phrase,"Respect is commanded not demanded."

  4. If it wasn’t for our parents, none of us would be where we are today. Although we may not always see eye-to-eye, the love and wisdom they instill upon us is something that can never be forgotten
