Invest In Yourself

                                             

Investment is a very common term we have been hearing from our childhood. It is advocated to realize the necessity of investment so to keep unpleasant insecurities at bay. There are numerous occasions where we have understood that timely investments have helped us in quite a realistic manner and avoided the undesired impediments in our life. In today’s world of modernization although the things are changing at an alarming rate yet the basic necessity for investment has not changed much. The concept of investment is not confined to financial investment but today it has become immensely significant to realize that apart from fulfilling our financial liabilities we need to invest in ourselves.

Yes, pretty much right, “Invest In yourself”.Throughout the globe, it is said and tried to be understood that the need for improvement is changing every single second. Why so? The answer lies in the fact that because if we do not consider improving ourselves then the day would not be far from losing ground where we feel incompetent and incapable to match the requirements of coming time.  There is always a complain that what the use of dedicating our valuable years in getting an education when we see less educated or illiterate persons doing better in their lives. These dilemmas always revolve around and make us depress to get ourselves on board as to ready ourselves for coming challenges in our lives.

It is always wastage of time in cursing and complaining because time is the most precious resource which we lose every single second. How to utilize this time should be a priority for us rather than wasting our time? The answer is making us skilled. The term ‘skill’ looks very small but has a great impact on one’s life as it is defined as an ability to perform. A person is always known for his performance so he can leave an impact on others and future generations. Again we confuse ourselves how, where, in which to get skilled? It depends on our area of interest because if we want to upgrade ourselves first of all we should figure out our interests, needs and capabilities. 

One more thing, we should also update ourselves with the current trends in the market because we can’t take a chance to lose. In an era of information technology numerous offline and online courses are being offered to upgrade our skills so as to get ready for future needs. Gone are the days when everything was secure in term of financial securities because currently, only those will be survived who have the foresight and indulge themselves in updating their knowledge and upgrading their skills.

Those people who are doing well in their respective fields is just because they have realized the necessity to upgrade them and acquire those skill sets which are always desired by the respective field recruiters. Realizing this need many centres (Govt. / Non Govt.) have started short term courses that are dedicated to providing training and knowledge in various fields. It’s always the individual’s responsibility to seek and acquire those skill sets on the behalf of which his personality resonates in the desired state which is the need of the hour.

Repenting for the rest of life does not yield us anything because grapes will become sour as we were unable to devote our valuable time in upgrading our skills to the level where our acceptance could not be ignored at any cost. The update and upgrade demonstrate our future in good times there is always scope to move in the right direction so as to leave a mark for others to pursue their desires to get fulfilled. As already discussed that there are plenty of opportunities around us through we can achieve at par excellent in the related field on the behalf of which we can save our precious time to act not in repenting.

So what are we looking for? Get us ready to involve and evolve such that we could rise and sustain our positions in a long run. For sustaining our identities we should not be reluctant in any manner which could be so detrimental for us. The need of the hour has a clarity which tells us that easting our time would cost us in such a manner that we would not get another moment to rectify our mistakes that have paved the way for our damages in a long run. To get the sheer level of competence and contemporary skills we should open our minds to imbibe those sets of information that leads to the acquisition of relevant knowledge and competence in a realistic and appropriate manner.

If we say,” We have been born as the most intelligent creatures on this planet”, then our thinking and behaviour should resonate the same because making loads of pomp and show is not going to get ourselves there which is always a kind of desire in the minds of every living soul on this blue planet.
